Su Kim (she/her), Senior Policy Manager, received her B.A. in Geography from UC Berkeley in 2018. Before graduating, Su was a research fellow with the Haas Scholars Program, where she conducted research on the political economy of post-Realignment jail expansion in California. She previously worked as a legal intern at Justice Now, and as a policy intern with Californians United for a Responsible Budget, supporting advocacy around decarceration and conditions of confinement in California prisons and jails. Su is passionate about movements to bring incarcerated people home, center the voices of those inside, and uplift the collective call for “care not cages.”
