Katy Dybwad (she/her), Director of Finance and Operations, brings social, public, and private sector experience to her role at UnCommon Law. She has worked with social enterprises such as Proximity Designs (Myanmar) and Global Citizen Year (Oakland), as well as community-based organizations such as OASES, now a part of EBAYC (Oakland). In addition to experience in the social sector, Katy worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, consulting with private sector and public sector entities on strategy and operations. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired college where she studied the intersection of mindfulness and social activism.

In her capacity as Director of Finance and Operations, Katy is responsible for managing our financials, overseeing day to day operations, and enabling long term strategic success.
