Adrian Vasquez (he/him), Parole Success Advocate, worked for the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) as the Vocation and Education Manager. There, he helped men and women impacted by the justice system by providing them support with meaningful employment and counseling. He obtained his bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). His major is sociology. At CSULB he helped co-found a student organization called Rising Scholars. An organization that provides a support network in academia for formerly incarcerated students. Adrian worked as the Program Associate for Youth Development and Education at the California Community Foundation. He helped coordinate a public-private partnership in funding organizations serving positive youth development in Los Angeles County. He served as a program associate at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Foundation (RPDFF), where he supported the Foundation on Criminal Justice Reform and Community Grants, which allocates funding throughout Los Angeles County.
At UnCommon Law, Adrian supports the Home After Harm team as a Parole Success Advocate to prepare incarcerated individuals with achieving parole in their Board of Parole Hearings. He is also a 2018 Just Leadership fellow and a 2020 Legal Education Access Pipeline (LEAP) fellow. In 2021, he graduated from Loyola Law School, Independent Forensic Gang Expert College (IFGEC). He attended Southwestern Law School and is currently a law student at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.
